Anchor text?

Anchor text is the actual text on a link to your web site. Instead of a link on a web site saying 'click here' and linking to your site, or simply listing your web site name ideally you have text that describes what's on your site.

    Using too much of targeted keywords while building links is considered to be spam and not a recommended technique any more. If you over do this, website may get penalized. The best option is to use brand keywords or long tail keywords which are utilized on website.

    Anchor is a set of visible characters and words that hyperlink shows when linking to another document or location on the world wide web.
